Flat sheets are a good start. Then a client walks in with curves, protruding vertebrae, shoulder blades that move — and everything changes. This back is the bridge between the sheet and the person.
Not a mass-produced mold. Hand-sculpted and hand-finished: hyperrealistic silicone cast over a resin skeleton that faithfully reproduces vertebrae and shoulder blades. Every curve is designed to give you the same resistance as a real back. Like all Foolish skins, the silicone mix changes daily, the colour is never flat (flock, chopped velvet microfibers), micropores hold the stencil, translucency makes ink read like on real skin, and natural transudation expels excess — so you see the clean result.
3D volume — the needle meets different curves and reliefs on every area. Vertebrae that resist, shoulder blades that surface, skin that tensions on the flanks. Muscle memory transfers 1:1 to the client. Resin skeleton — bone structure beneath the silicone gives the back its form. Working over the spine you feel bone underneath, exactly like on a real client. Wall-mountable — the support is designed to hang. Your finished work becomes a wall portfolio: perspective, ink behaviour over volumes. Stuff you can’t capture in a flat photo.
